SciatiEase and Blood Pressure Medicine: Known and Unknown
SciatiEase and blood pressure medicine have not been tested together, and none of our sources says the capsules change blood pressure. Two points deserve a pharmacist's look: passionflower and R-ALA list dizziness as a side effect, and the loop diuretic furosemide is linked to lower thiamin. Keep taking your prescription and ask first.

The short version01
Can you take SciatiEase with blood pressure medicine?
Unknown. That is the honest answer, and your pharmacist can fill it in.
We found no trial, label statement or monograph that covers SciatiEase with blood pressure drugs. We also found no source saying it raises or lowers blood pressure.
Two smaller flags came up, covered below. Neither is a proven interaction.
Never stop or change a blood pressure prescription because of a supplement. Ask your prescriber or pharmacist instead.
Two flags02
Which SciatiEase ingredients could matter for blood pressure medicine?
Passionflower and R-ALA list dizziness, and benfotiamine turns into thiamin.
Passionflower may cause drowsiness, dizziness and confusion (NCCIH, Passionflower). R-alpha lipoic acid lists vertigo among its side effects (Linus Pauling Institute, Lipoic Acid). Dizziness is also a common worry with blood pressure drugs, so tell your pharmacist about all of it.
Benfotiamine becomes thiamin in the body, and furosemide, a loop diuretic, is linked to lower thiamin levels (NIH ODS, Thiamin). Whether that matters with SciatiEase has not been studied.
| Label line | Point to raise | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Passionflower extract (blend) | Dizziness, drowsiness; amount hidden | (NCCIH, Passionflower) (21 CFR 101.36 (eCFR)) |
| R-ALA, 250 mg | Vertigo listed as a side effect | (Linus Pauling Institute, Lipoic Acid) |
| Benfotiamine, 200 mg | Furosemide linked to lower thiamin | (NIH ODS, Thiamin) |
| PEA, B vitamins, other herbs | No blood pressure drug interaction in our sources | (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6) (Lang-Illievich et al., Nutrients 2023) |
Reading the gaps03
What does the missing evidence mean?
It means unstudied, not harmless.
NCCIH says supplements can interact with medicines and asks you to tell every provider about each one (NCCIH, Using Dietary Supplements Wisely). Managing blood pressure matters for nerve health in people with diabetes (NIDDK, Peripheral Neuropathy), so a blood pressure plan is worth protecting.
- Do not read silence on the label as clearance.
- Do not move a dose or time for any prescription on your own.
- Do report dizziness or fainting to a clinician.

FAQ05
Blood pressure medicine and SciatiEase: questions
Could SciatiEase change my blood pressure readings?
None of our sources says it does, and the label makes no blood pressure claim. Unstudied is not the same as safe, so mention it if your readings change.
Can SciatiEase make me dizzy on top of my medicine?
Passionflower may cause dizziness (NCCIH, Passionflower) and R-ALA lists vertigo (Linus Pauling Institute, Lipoic Acid). No study tested the blend. Tell your clinician about fainting or lightheadedness.
What about water pills and benfotiamine?
Furosemide is linked to lower thiamin levels (NIH ODS, Thiamin). Whether benfotiamine in SciatiEase changes that is unstudied. Ask your pharmacist.
Should I check my blood pressure more often?
That is a question for your prescriber. Bring the SciatiEase bottle and ask what monitoring suits you.
Is there a blood pressure warning on the bottle?
The label text we can see shows none, and our panel image omits the side warnings. Read your bottle and ask a pharmacist.
