Is SciatiEase Vegetarian? What the Capsule Shell Tells You
Is SciatiEase vegetarian? No. The Supplement Facts panel lists gelatin as the capsule shell, and gelatin comes from animal collagen, so the capsules are not vegetarian or vegan. The panel does not say which animal. The other listed ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate and silica, none of which change that answer.

The shell01
Is SciatiEase vegetarian or vegan?
Neither. Other ingredients on the panel read: gelatin (capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate, silica.
Gelatin is made from animal collagen, so a gelatin shell rules out vegetarian and vegan diets. That is a diet fact, not a safety warning.
The panel gives no source animal and no vegetarian, vegan, kosher or halal mark. Absence of a mark means unknown, so do not assume.
Every line02
What else is in the capsule besides the active ingredients?
Four other ingredients, and one of them is the shell.
| Other ingredient | Role | Diet note |
|---|---|---|
| Gelatin | Capsule shell | Animal-derived; not vegetarian |
| Microcrystalline cellulose | Filler | Usually plant fiber |
| Vegetable stearate | Flow agent | Source not printed |
| Silica | Anti-caking agent | Mineral |
The role column is general knowledge of these additives; the panel lists names only.
The actives03
Are the active ingredients plant-based?
Mixed, and the label does not say how each is made.
Four herb extracts come from plants. The vitamins, PEA, R-ALA, ALCAR and benfotiamine are listed by name only. We do not know their sources, and we will not guess.
Feverfew is in the daisy family, so people allergic to ragweed should ask first (MSKCC, Feverfew). No allergen statement is on the panel image we have.

What can vegetarians do instead?
Ask the brand, or compare single ingredients sold in plant-based capsules.
The brand's order desk is the only place to ask about gelatin sources or any plant-based version, at +1 (844) 361-1273. We know of no vegetarian SciatiEase.
The Supplement Facts breakdown lists every line so you can compare. For a plain PEA comparison, see SciatiEase vs PEA alone, and for a wider look at the 12 lines, see SciatiEase 12 ingredients.
FAQ05
Diet and the capsule: questions
What animal is the SciatiEase gelatin from?
The panel does not say. Gelatin can come from cows, pigs or fish. If it matters for religious or dietary reasons, ask the order desk before buying.
Can I open the capsule to avoid the gelatin?
That removes the shell, but the label gives no guidance on opening capsules and we have no data on how it changes the dose. Ask your pharmacist first.
Is SciatiEase gluten free?
The panel image we have prints no gluten statement. Its other ingredients do not name wheat, but without a printed claim we cannot call it gluten free.
Does the SciatiEase label carry a halal or kosher mark?
No halal or kosher mark appears on anything we could read. Ask the brand for certificates instead of relying on the name.
Does the vegetable stearate make it vegetarian?
No. Vegetable stearate is one other ingredient, and the gelatin shell still decides the answer. The panel does not print its source plant.
