SciatiEase vs PEA Supplement: What Each Gives You

Quick answer

SciatiEase vs a PEA supplement comes down to one ingredient versus twelve. Four SciatiEase capsules hold 500 mg of PEA inside a 750 mg AlphaPalm Blend, plus B vitamins, carnitine, benfotiamine and herbs. A plain PEA product gives only PEA. No trial has tested SciatiEase itself, so neither choice is proven for sciatica.

The PEA line01

How much PEA is in SciatiEase compared with a PEA supplement?

A 4-capsule serving holds 500 mg of PEA, printed on the panel.

PEA sits inside the AlphaPalm Blend, 750 mg in all, beside 250 mg of R-alpha lipoic acid. Both amounts are printed.

Trials gave 300 to 1,200 mg a day (Lang-Illievich et al., Nutrients 2023). The sciatica trial used 300 or 600 mg for 3 weeks (Keppel Hesselink, J Pain Res 2015). So 500 mg falls inside the studied range. The brand home page lists 600 mg (SciatiEase order page); we follow the panel.

Side by side02

What do you get beyond PEA?

Eleven more label lines, none of which have a trial as a combined formula.

The extra lines add exposure too. B6 at 20 mg is above Australia's 10 mg warning line (TGA, Vitamin B6 and neuropathy), and the herbs bring their own cautions (MSKCC, Feverfew) (MSKCC, Scutellaria baicalensis).

Choosing03

When does PEA alone make more sense?

When you want one ingredient you can adjust and judge by itself.

SciatiEase

  • Many ingredient lines in one 4-capsule serving
  • PEA amount printed
  • 180-day guarantee on the order page (SciatiEase order page)

PEA alone

  • You control the dose
  • Fewer interactions to track
  • No hidden amounts

Plain PEA lets you see whether PEA alone suits you, since a blend cannot tell you which line did what.

Cost04

What does SciatiEase cost per day?

From about $1.67 a day at 4 capsules on the 6-bottle pack.

One bottle is $69.00 plus $6.95 shipping. Three bottles are $59.99 each and six are $49.99 each, with free US shipping on those packs (SciatiEase order page). To compare with a PEA product, divide its price by its PEA mg.

FAQ05

SciatiEase and plain PEA: specific questions

Is 500 mg of PEA in SciatiEase enough?

It sits within the 300 to 1,200 mg a day range used in trials (Lang-Illievich et al., Nutrients 2023). Whether it is enough for you is a clinician's call. Nobody has tested the full SciatiEase formula, so enough is unproven.

Does SciatiEase use micronized PEA?

The panel we have does not say. It prints Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) 500 mg inside the AlphaPalm Blend. Ask the brand's order desk for the form if it matters to you.

Can I take SciatiEase and a separate PEA capsule?

We would not. That would push PEA above the printed 500 mg and add its own pills to the daily count. Talk to your pharmacist before stacking anything.

Is the PEA in SciatiEase the same as pure PEA?

The ingredient is named PEA on the panel. Purity and testing are not published; no lab report or certificate of analysis is posted for SciatiEase.

Why choose a blend over single PEA?

Mostly convenience: one serving covers several lines. The trade-off is that you cannot tell which line does what, and herb amounts are hidden.
