What causes neuropathy in the feet?
Diabetes is a common cause, and symptoms often start in the feet.
Up to half of people with diabetes have peripheral neuropathy. Burning, tingling, numbness and weakness are usually in the feet and legs, and often worse at night (NIDDK, Peripheral Neuropathy).
Other causes include B12 shortage, alcohol, some chemotherapy and nerve compression. Sciatica is different: it follows a nerve root, usually from the back.

Benfotiamine at 300 or 600 mg a day for 6 weeks improved a symptom score in the per-protocol group (p = 0.033) but only just missed it in the intention-to-treat group (p = 0.055) (Stracke et al., BENDIP 2008).

Are there risks in neuropathy supplements for feet?

Can supplements stop burning feet at night?
Not reliably. Night burning is a classic neuropathy symptom (NIDDK, Peripheral Neuropathy), and trials of supplements show small or uncertain pain changes (Rolim et al., Cochrane 2019) (Stracke et al., BENDIP 2008). See a clinician if it is new or growing.
Is numbness in both feet a reason to see a doctor?
Yes. Persistent numbness or tingling in both feet can come from diabetes, low B12 or other causes that a test can find (NIDDK, Peripheral Neuropathy). Diagnosis comes before choosing a supplement.
Does vitamin B12 help neuropathy in the feet?
